delivered the message 100% and to prove it, there are billions of people who found the

answer, lived and died relaxed. The problem occurs when the reader wants to reinterpret

the words so that s/he would not have to obay the instructions.

How do you believe in something that you do not know really really well? Don't forget

that religion has always asked and encouraged us to think and use our minds. This is one

of the biggest forms of worship to strengthen belief and faith. I personaly have

benefitted more from thinking than from other forms of worship such as fasting, zakaa and

others. But this is my opinion, not 'fatwa'.

But you do have a point, a lot of it is faith and belief in the unseen such as angels,

heaven, hell, judgment day and even jinn. One of the first characteristics for the

believers is belief in the unseen, and belief is 2 parts: seen and unseen. Belief in the

unseen is the real test of faith. Now I opened the door for you, bring it on! :)

ثم بالنسبة لله ولصفاته فإن القرآن - وأنا لن أتحدث عن الأخرين لجهلي عنهم - أكثر الوصف والتبيان لصفاته وبيان عن ذاته كأكثر المواضيع مناقشة في القرآن ثم يأتي بعد ذلك مناقشة أهل الكتاب وذكر مأل الأقوام

الأخرين.
أريد من الأخ عوني إن كان ممن يحب القراءة الرجوع إلى كتاب النباء لمصطفى دراز كتاب صغير وممتع وسلس وفيه كلام جيد جداً لمن يحبون النقاش المنطقي بل فيه نوع من تدرج في مناقشة المسئلة من فرعها الأساس

Allow me to interfere...Bashar, we don't just believe in the unseen without a strong

base, otherwise it would be easy to deny them. Islam requires us to think and use our

brains first so we can believe... Allah did not ask us to believe in the unseen just

because he informed us of their presence. He required us to investigate the words, their

source, structure, the way they are phrased and their intention and to be sure that they

are not the words of a human and that there is no contradiction or human interference.

After being sure that these are the words of God, we were required to believe everything

including the unseen. Regarding the characteristics of God, the Quran has all the

characteristics.I won't speak for othe religions, as I don't know much about them. If you

would like more, please refer to the book by Mr Mostafa Draz....

التفسير ما لا يستطيع قوله حتى لا يضوج و يقوموا عليه. ربما في عصرنا لن يضوج الناس بعد ما رأينا ما رأينا من التطور والتكنولوجيا. نقطة اخرى, القران يخبرنا "انا خلقناكم ازواجا". والنقطة الخيرة :

الأسلام يقول ان الله هو المكان و الزمان. كيف يكون الله هو المكان و نحن هنا؟ هل نحن جزء من الله؟ لن اعطيك تفسيرا لأني لا امك تفسيرا و لكن عندي نظريتي و لك المجال للتفكر و تطلع بنظريتك و لكن قبل ان

تبدأ, لا تضع لعقلك حدودا و الا فقد لا تصل الى مرادك.

All this talk and all the blief lead to one thing: a go who is great, perfect/complete,

honest. No body knows what He is or how and no body really understands the Books. Ibn

Abbas(companion of the prophet and one of the biggest scholars of islam) has told that he

knows interpretations of the Quran that he cannot speak of because the people would not

understand and they would probably attack him and accuse him of heresy. I believe that

the people of this age can hear such an interpretation after seeing so much techonology

and development. Quran says "we have made you in pairs". And the last point: Islam

informs that Allah is the Place and Time.How can Allah be the place if we are here? Are

we part of God? I will not explain all this to you as I only have a theory, not facts.

You think and come up with your own theory, but do not prejudge and put limits for your

mind before you start.

Mission Accomplished

Talking to myself here...but feel free to be confused to hell and back.

Mission was accomplished a few hours ago, sure, but is it over? Does a college student finish his mission by graduating? Isn't that like a new born child saying mission accomplished because she finally made her way out of the womb? Didn't life just start and things started going down hill for her? The college student will surely wish he never finished college. The same goes for everyone and everything. Just finishing a project doesn't mean you're done, it means you're just starting. All this rambling is about something that happened after my talk with my boss today. New era is beginning, I shouldn't be happy to have finished the previous one. 

Just a reminded to myself, this journey started near Abu El Fahid restaurant, in the street near my barber's shop. Nice walk I had, gave me time to think and set goals :)

End of story...don't be happy you finished it, there are others down the road.

This good…I’ve been fighting with myself over using ASP.NET(which I know a bit) or switching to PHP(which I don’t know). I want to switch to PHP because it’s more compatible with ‘the web’. Most sites let you integrate with PHP, and only some let you integrate with ASP.NET. Even the ones that let you use ASP don’t always support ASP as soon as they make changes, and you have to wait weeks or months before you can take advantage of the new features. This tool could be the answer to all my worries...well, not all of them, but it's a start :)
